All Classes at RRY can accommodate beginners, just move at your own pace! It's not a competition! Modifications are always offered in class and questions are encouraged.

Set in comfortable environment this is the perfect way to start your day! Class begins with some gentle warming of the body and breath awareness. Some gentle stretching opens the way to a mindful vinyasa flow building strength, flexibility, and awareness.
Gentle/Restore Yoga - Great for beginners!
Learn to cultivate your deep yogic breath while practicing basic floor, seated and standing postures. This softer level of intensity class focuses on physical alignment and is perfect for students who are beginning their yoga journey. Advanced practitioners are invited to explore the softer side of their yoga practice while going through fundamental sequences.
This slow flow series is, we explore the more mindful side on a traditional vinyasa sequence. This class involves movement, with variations and modifications offered so that all levels can enjoy! This is a great class to start the body moving, providing balance and toning.
Yogalates combines yoga and pilates, emphasizing strengthening the core - which stabilizes the spine, pelvis, and torso. Weights are used for toning muscles in the arms, and resistance straps are used to strenghthen leg muscles.
This class incorporates movements for all parts of the body. Yoga is fused at the end of the sequence for relaxation and stress relief.
Rock River Vinyasa Flow
In this series, students will be challenged physically while connecting their mind and body, through conscious breath. This series will strengthen and detoxify the body. This class is challenging, but will also offer modifications for beginners.
Warm and Restore
Healing Yoga - Great for beginners!
Relax and restore with a series of holding postures that focus on stretching and breathing. This class alleviates soreness, heals the connective tissues in your body, and creates space in the mind. This healing, stress relieving series is designed for all level practitioners. Great post recovery for athletes in training! Blocks, straps & blankets provided.
Yin yoga poses bring awareness to the connective tissue of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative and gentle approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality. This is an all levels class, beginners welcome!
We will warm the body with a slow flow before moving into deeply restorative postures and finishing with a sweet svasana (yogic sleep). As we move through the poses, we use blankets, blocks, straps and other props to deeply support each posture. The more fully your body is supported, the deeper your sense of relaxation and surrender. And the more fully you surrender, the greater your ability to release physical and emotional stress.
Release stress, release anxiety, release whatever it is that no longer serves you, and return to a state of balance and well-being. All levels! No experience necessary.
