* Pre-Post Natal classes are $25 per class, $80 for all 4 classes pre-register.
All Classes at RRY can accommodate beginners, just move at your own pace! It's not a competition! Modifications are always offered in class and questions are encouraged.

Morning Flow (Sundays too!)
Set in comfortable environment this is the perfect way to start your day! Class begins with some gentle warming of the body and breath awareness. Some gentle stretching opens the way to a mindful vinyasa flow building strength, flexibility, and awareness.
Gentle/Restore Yoga - Great for beginners!
Learn to cultivate your deep yogic breath while practicing basic floor, seated and standing postures. This softer level of intensity class focuses on physical alignment and is perfect for students who are beginning their yoga journey. Advanced practitioners are invited to explore the softer side of their yoga practice while going through fundamental sequences.
Gentle Yoga Series (Chair Assists) with Sheila Hamill
In this series, we are offering a class specifically designed for individuals who are recovering from illness/surgery, individuals that are just getting back to physical movements, or have physical compromises such as arthritis, joint replacements, osteoporosis or just general stiffness. Traditional poses are modified for any age and ability. Sitting and standing poses are performed using a chair followed by light work on the floor and relaxation to end the class. This class will aid in the development of strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance. Other benefits include improved mental clarity, increased energy, and learning how to release tension.
Ariel and Kristin bring their own special gifts to this series. A unique class blending mindful, dynamic flowing sequences with longer held deep, detoxifying and mindful meditative postures. The use of candles provides a calm mood, a wonderful way to de-stress and restore balance between the Yang and Yin energies in the body and mind. Great way to end the day and get a great nights sleep! This is an all-levels class.
All Levels Vinyasa - Great for beginners! A fun and invigorating yoga class for new and experienced yogis! A series of asanas (postures) that work seamlessly together with breath to build heat within the body while creating endurance, strength and power. Each posture has multiple alternatives that allow you to choose the most appropriate pose for your body that day, so the practice can be as hard or as easy as you’d like it.
Rock River Vinyasa Flow
In this series, students will be challenged physically while connecting their mind and body, through conscious breath. This series will strengthen and detoxify the body. This class is challenging, but will also offer modifications for beginners.
School Teacher Flow 4:30pm Wednesdays - All levels welcome
This class is scheduled around a traditional school teachers schedule, but all are welcome! This class is an all-levels vinyasa class. The benefits include improved focus, digestion, flexibility and strength. We will also explore some detoxifying poses. Join the growing community of Rock River Yoga and experience the healing (mind and body) qualities of yoga!
Healing Yoga - Great for beginners!
Relax and restore with a series of holding postures that focus on stretching and breathing. This class alleviates soreness, heals the connective tissues in your body, and creates space in the mind. This healing, stress relieving series is designed for all level practitioners. Great post recovery for athletes in training! Blocks, straps & blankets are provided.
In this special class you will build strength and stamina, alleviate aches and pains, and discover movements that might be beneficial during labor while learning conscious relaxation in a community of other moms-to-be.
* Friday PM Special Class/Workshops - Select Friday evenings Rock River Yoga will host a special "themed" class that will include asana (physical exercise) mixed with other important aspects of yoga. (meditation, chakras, anatomy, astrology, etc) Expand your practice and awareness! Workshops may also be scheduled in this time slot.
This class or workshop will feature a variety of teachers with different backgrounds and gifts.
